What to expect on your first visit.

• On your first visit you will be asked to complete a short confidential questionaire.
• The physiotherapist will ask you questions about your problem and details of your medical history and then examine the relevant joints, muscles and ligaments. The Physio will usually need to examine the site of pain . Please bring with you appropriate clothing to facilitate (shorts or vest top)
• Your physiotherapist will then discuss the examination findings with you and agree a treatment plan. This will include advice and if applicable self-management techniques.
• After assessment your physiotherapist will start your treatment on that day.

Please bring with you:

Any hospital notes, correspondence, referral letters, x-rays, scans and results of any investigations you may have.

Fees:

A normal session lasts up to 30 minutes and costs £40.00 payable after treatment.
